NOW BOARDING: Wine Around the World Tomorrow!

Join the MPOA for Wine Around the World this Saturday from 5-9 pm. Tickets are not required to attend the event but are required to participate in the Wine Tasting. A limited number of Wine Tasting tickets will be available at the event.

 

Travel the world as you listen to the sounds of Soul Gravity while sipping on wines from 6 different regions. Please remember to take a cork for your chance of winning a 12 bottle wine cooler. Pack a picnic and bring your favorite wine or beer and enjoy a spectacular evening at Dolphin Beach.

 

All attendees are required to check in at the tent and show ID to receive a wrist-band. Guests not wearing a wristband will be immediately escorted to the check-in table. Dolphin Beach will be restricted to only those aged 21 or older from 5-9 pm.

In Case You Missed It

Just in case you missed the large black and white signs on Waterway Drive, Spring Branch Boulevard, Northgate Drive or Southlake Boulevard, the speed limit is 35 miles per hour. As the weather warms up and children play outside, it is important to drive at the proper speeds. The Montclair Property Owners Association hires off-duty police officers to patrol the community. In addition to helping prevent unwanted activity on common areas, they also conduct traffic stops on all VDOT roads within Montclair. Please remember to drive at the posted speed limit, you won’t just be saving yourself a ticket, you may also be saving a life.

Guideline Changes Effective 5/1/2013

At the March 13, 2013 Board of Directors meeting, fifteen amendements were made to the Community Guidelines, Article 5 and one amendment was made to a resolution. These amendments, published in the April issue of The Montclairion and attached below, will go into effect beginning Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The Community Guidelines can be accessed in their entirety by clicking "Documents and Forms" then "View/Download Community Guidelines (Covenants)". Cardinal Fence Area Town Hall Meeting

The Montclair Board of Directors will be holding a town hall meeting on Thursday, April 25th at 7:30 p.m. at the MPOA office to discuss a recent motion to remove the common area fence near Cardinal Drive. This motion, approved at the March 13, 2013 Board of Directors meeting, gave a deadline for removal of no later than February 2015. The Board would like community input regarding this issue and to discuss options going forward. Residents of Montclair, especially those in the area of Holleyside Drive and Peppermill Court directly affected by the removal of the fence, are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions. Light refreshments will be served.
