Are you looking for a way to improve the appearance of your neighborhood?  Join your neighbors for the Prince William Neighborhood Conference on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. in the Development Services Building at 5 County Complex Court in Woodbridge. 

New "Kiss and Ride" Opens

Starting Monday, January 30th, residents will now be able to utilize the newest addition to the Woodbridge VRE station: the much anticipated "Kiss and Ride" Lot.


The addition provides "car and bus access from the northbound lanes of Route 1, as well as improved pedestrian access," according to a VRE press release. Construction included "adding a turning lane on northbound Route 1, concrete curb and gutters, sidewalks, storm water drainage, crosswalks, a bus shelter, lighting, and signage all within a limited area and a very busy thoroughfare."

MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO– Residents in the immediate vicinity of Marine Corps Base Quantico may experience an increase in noise as a result of scheduled training exercises:



  • Friday, November 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Explosive Munitions Training is scheduled.

  • Monday, November 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Explosive Munitions Training is scheduled.

  • Tuesday, November 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Explosive Munitions Training is scheduled.
