February in Montclair is Volunteer Appreciation.  This month, MPOA will recognize volunteers for events, committees, and our hard working, diligent Board of Directors at the Volunteer Appreciation Reception.  The reception will be held on February 27 at the Montclair Country Club from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Look for an invitation to hit your mailbox by Valentine's Day, February 14.  The R.S.V.P. date is February 20, so please notify me at events@montclairva.com or 703-670-6187.   If you do not receive an invitation and have been a volunteer in 2007, please let me know so that I can add your name to the list.  MPOA does not want to exclude recognizing you for your valued efforts.  This year's reception will include games, prize giveaways, great food from the new chef at the Montclair Country Club, and the presentation of a new Distinguished Volunteer of the Year Award.  All are encouraged to attend.

Easter time is approaching and so is the Easter Bunny’s annual visit to Montclair. The Easter Bunny will arrive at Dolphin Beach on March 22 at 11:00 a.m. As always, we will need volunteers to spread the Easter eggs and supervise the various age groups during the big hunt.
