HEATHER MCDEVITT, CMCA, AMS, PCAM
Heather McDevitt joined the MPOA in May 2008 with 17+ years experience in property management. She hails from Minnesota and now lives right around the corner in Lake Ridge. She holds the following degrees and accreditations: B.S. in Marketing with an emphasis in Computer Science, Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA).
JENNIFER HUGHES, CMCA
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATION
Jennifer Hughes joined the MPOA Staff in September 2003 as the Covenants Director under CMC and was hired by the current management company, FirstService Residential, in 2007. As the Assistant GM of Administration, Hughes wears many hats. She assists with the daily operation of Montclair, serves as the MPOA Office Manager, administers and manages contracts and serves as the Covenants department supervisor.
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER OF OPERATIONS
Tom Whiting joined the MPOA Staff in June 2011. Whiting has over 18 years of Management and Supervisory experience holding positions as a Maintenance Engineer, Operations Director and General Manager. Whiting is a lifelong resident of Loudoun County and currently resides in Ashburn with his wife, Lizzy, and their two sons. As the Assistant GM of Operations, Whiting's role with MPOA is to oversee the physical property that includes but is not limited to the common property, the lake and the recreation/beach areas and also contributing to the operations of the MPOA office. He supervises the three-person full-time maintenance staff.
COMMUNITY SERVICES MANAGER
Megan Chambers joined the MPOA Staff in May 2012. Chambers is an early graduate from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia with a degree in Marketing Communications. She joins MPOA with over 8 years of experience in the Events and Promotions industry, including work as an Event Coordinator for Great Meadow Foundation, the Virginia Gold Cup Association and most recently as Public Relations and Group Sales Coordinator at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida. As Community Services Manager, Chambers manages all events and communications.
COMMUNITY SERVICES ASSISTANT
Samantha Bates joined MPOA in June 2011 as the Covenants Inspector for Precincts 1 and 3. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Italian language. While at VCU, she worked in the Preservation department of the school's library helping to prepare for upcoming renovations. Bates currently assist with tasks relating to the events and communications of MPOA.
Jessica Spitalny joined MPOA in June 2013 as the Covenants Administrator. Spitalny is a graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She currently acts as the staff liaison to the Covenants Committee.
Luis Solloso joined the MPOA in January 2014 as a Covenants Inspector for precincts 2 and 4. Solloso is currently working towards his degree in Information Technologies.
Kristie Upperman joined MPOA in November 2012. Before becoming an inspector, Upperman worked in the property management industry at an apartment complex in Stafford. She is a graduate of Averett University with a degree in Equine Business Management.
Elizabeth McKeone joined MPOA in 2008. McKeone's has held positions as a portfolio manager and covenants inspector. She handles all payments that come into the Montclair office as well as all beach tags forms, beach reservations, and boat stickers. Elizabeth assists the General Manager and Assistant General Managers in all administrative duties.
