Below are the Board Briefs from the January
9, 2008 Board of Directors meeting:

• Approved the minutes from the December 12, 2007 Board of Directors meeting.
• Approved the 2008 Annual Meeting Packet and Annual Meeting
  Agenda as presented by the Election Committee with amendments.
• Appointed Tina Cech, Mikie Marr and Mike Mayer to the
  Elections Committee.
• Directed staff to work with the Landscape & Facilities
  Management Committee to gather additional information on portable toilets and
  on building permanent toilet facilities at the beaches and Kids Dominion.
• Waived the MPOA Conference Room $100 security deposit for
  the use of the Conference Room for Neighborhood Watch meetings, contingent upon
  the homeowner submitting the application with no food or drink served.
• Approved a request to waive non-compliance fees, but denied
  a request to waive attorney fees.
• Denied a request to waive legal fees.
• Recognized the first recipient of the Montclair
  Distinguished Service Award.
