- Approved the minutes from the March 12, 2008 Board of Directors meeting and the March 15, 2008 Organizational Meeting.
- Approved a Variance for Fencing.
- Approved changes to the Community Guidelines 5.4.22 Mailboxes (changes to be included in the May Montclairion).
- Approved a Property Improvement Request for a Shed.
- Approved changes to the Community Guidelines 5.4.12 Fences for Single Family Homes (changes to be included in the May Montclairion).
- Approved changes to the Community Guidelines 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 Policies Regarding Recreational Facilities (changes to be included in the May Montclairion).
- Approved the merger of the Planning, Environs, Land Use & transportation Committee (PELT) with the Communications Committee.
- Approved the Virginia Masters Swim Team’s request to hold their Annual Open Swim on Sunday September 6, 2008 on Lake Montclair.
- Approved two requests for debt write-off.
- Approved changes to the Collection Policy, Resolution #08-059 (changes to be included in the May Montclairion).
- Directed the General Manager to execute the USDA plan to capture and removal geese from Lake Montclair.
- Approved the 2008 Events schedule.
- Approved H&M Engineering to conduct the bi-annual re-inspection and report for the Lake Montclair Dam and re-apply for a Virginia Operations and Maintenance Certificate.
- Approved changes to the Community Guidelines 4.1.6 Beverages (changes to be included in the May Montclairion).
- Denied a request to waive legal fees.
- Deferred a motion regarding changes to the Community Guidelines 5.4.8 Docks, Piers and Wharves to the May Board meeting.
- Deferred a motion to place referendum on the 2009 Annual Meeting Ballot to amend section 6.1(k) of the Declaration to permit kennels, run and shed to the May Board meeting for legal review.
