The Montclair Lions hope every Montclair resident, their family members, and their guests had as much fun at Montclair Day as we did.  Congratulations to this year's winners of the Montclair Lions Scholarships, Delaney Tomczak and Ben White.  Delaney plans to attend JMU and Ben plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall.  Thanks to Lion Kathy Grover for coordinating this year's scholarship program.

Just a reminder that the Montclair Lions, in cooperation with the Montclair Community Events Committee, will host another great Fourth of July community cook-out at Dolphin Beach from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday July 4.  Hot dogs, hamburgers and cold drinks will be available for purchase. Live music will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Darkness brings another exciting and spectacular fireworks display that will light up the entire sky over Lake Montclair. Proceeds from the Montclair Lions cookout will directly support local area charities as well as the August 12, 2006 Montclair Teen Beach Party.

Tickets for the second Montclair Lions “Fall Classic Texas Hold-Em” Tournament will soon go on sale.   This exciting Lions event is tentatively schedule for a 1:00 p.m. start on Saturday October 11, 2008 at the Dumfries Fire & Rescue Station.
