This month is the Montclair Fall Boat Auction.  The MPOA will auction off all unclaimed or abandoned boats located on the West Beach boat racks that do not have current registration stickers. 

If you own and store your boat on the West Beach boat racks, please make sure it is registered with the MPOA.  This means your boat is on file with the MPOA office and displays a current ‘December 2009’ sticker and as well as an orange ‘Montclair’ sticker with your 4-digit number.  

Boats up for bid are located in the far end of the parking lot at West Beach and are clearly marked with a numbered sticker.  MPOA will accept bids beginning Wednesday, October 1, and residents may only bid on ONE boat.  Only bids from residents in Good Standing will be accepted.

To place a bid on a boat, fill out the 2008 Fall Boat Auction form.  Forms may be faxed to the MPOA office at 703/670-9620, or left in the MPOA drop box located outside the left-hand side of the main building entrance. 

The deadline to place a bid is Friday, October 31 by 5:00 p.m.  All bids must be received by this deadline.  Bids received after October 31 will not be considered.  The winning bidders will be notified by Monday, November 10.  Questions or concerns?  Call the MPOA office at 703/670-6187 and ask for Jennifer Hughes.
