The month of December is always busy with preparations for the holidays and the New Year. We attend many parties, see all our friends, family, colleagues, eat lots of nice food and enjoy all those beautiful lights.

This year the Events Committee has tried to contribute to all the festivities by organizing a holiday party for the senior community of Montclair. It will be held on December 6^th at Giorgio's Family Restaurant from 2:30-5:30pm. A buffet style dinner will be served and the Platinum Vocal Jazz Choir of Forest Park High School will be performing holiday and Jazz music. Tickets are sold for $5 a person. For last minute availability of tickets please call the MPOA office on 703 670 6187.

For other holiday activities in Montclair please refer to our holiday events schedule in this issue. I hope all the children will be on the streets to see Santa throw candies from the fire truck on December 16th, and many of you will join the holiday caroling on Dolphin Beach that evening. Please note that for the house decorating contest you can enter any house you like, not only your own.

I would like to apologize for Teresa Yung for her name not being mentioned on the list of Oktoberfest volunteers in the November issue. Teresa was making delicious funnel cakes, which made Oktoberfest so special. Thanks for your help Teresa.
