Montclair Beautification Day
Location(s)
The Landscape and Facilities Management Committee (LFMC) is pleased to host Montclair's annual Beautification Day. To those new to Montclair, or to our neighbors who have not participated in the past, now is a chance to make our community a more beautiful place to live, to enjoy the company of your neighbors, and to have a great lunch provided by the Montclair Country Club.
Montclair Beautification Day IS:
1) A Community event staffed by volunteers and supported by MPOA staff.
2) A day when volunteers gather to work on special projects to beautify our outdoor surroundings. These may include:
Planting day lilies and ground cover in medians
Weeding the beach areas and other common property
Picking up trash
Cleaning up the lake
3) A great opportunity for Cub Scouts (with leader supervision), Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and students, to get community service hours. They must bring their logs with them to get signed off.
Montclair Beautification Day IS NOT:
1) A substitute for the work done by landscape staff paid by our dues
2) Held in bad weather
3) Boring
