September and fall are upon us and several properties in Montclair have suffered from the lack of rain and continuous heat. 

Some property owners may only have to re-seed there lawns; however, the majority will have to amend the soil prior to planting seed or installing sod.  Amending the soil will take some time and patience, as you may have to aerate or till the area, in addition to adding top soil, and fertilizer.
