Snow Removal

The owners of the streets are responsible for street maintenance which includes snow removal. With that being said, the majority of the streets within Montclair are owned by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and approximately 1.9 miles are owned by the Montclair Property Owners Association (MPOA). Streets within sub-associations are owned and maintained by the sub-associations themselves.  Some of the sub-associations have contracted with the MPOA for limited snow removal services (contact MPOA for contract details.).  A complete listing of Montclair streets, the responsible party, and a point of contact is posted on the MPOA website homepage at www.montclairva.com.  For VDOT owned and maintained streets, call 703/383-8368.  For MPOA owned and maintained streets, call the MPOA office at 703/670-6187.

Leaf Removal

Homeowners are responsible for raking and removing leaves from their lots. It is against the Community Covenants and Guidelines to dispose of your leaves into the lake, streets, or storm drains. Be considerate and do not blow the leaves into your neighbor's yard or common areas.

Be active, participate in your community. Have a wonderful 2008.
