The Garden Club of Montclair
Is a non-profit organization established in 1975 to stimulate interest and enjoyment in gardening and share gardening methods to better beautify our homes and community. Meetings are generally held the fourth Thursday of each month. Meetings include informative speakers, Garden tours and demonstrations. We have picked fields of flowers from Purcellville to Tappahannock, participated in floral arranging and Holidays greens workshops, and we always find the best restaurants!
Our annual plant sale proceeds support numerous projects and organizations, such as American Horticultural Society, National and State Arboretums, American Forests, World Gardening, Garden Conservancy, Scholarship Funds, Youth Education and Save-the-Bay Project.
The club has maintained the Montclair Firehouse #17 garden, the interior Secret Garden at the Prince William County Senior Care Center in the Ferlazzo Building and established Montclair’s Blue Star Memorial Garden next to the MPOA Building. We welcome all who are interested in joining our group of happy gardeners.
The Montclair Flotilla is a social group of Montclairians who love Lake Montclair and who live in Montclair, Virginia. Members of the Flotilla meet in the middle of Lake Montclair for monthly happy hours during the summer. On our official Facebook page, members engage in conversations about the lake and any activity that takes place on or around it. It's also a support group where members talk about and seek advice on boating, swimming, fishing and anything else related to Lake Montclair. Members of the flotilla report on concerns and suspicious activity occurring on the lake, share great fishing spots, update each other on lake conditions and water temperature and help each other with boat to boat towing and battery swaps. The Montclair Flotilla sponsors and hosts various events on the lake, are advocates for boating and swimming safety and gives tours of the lake for those who are elderly and disabled. For more information on the group and to request to join, visit the Montclair Flotilla Facebook Group.

Would you prefer direct trips to the Pentagon, Capitol Hill, or downtown, avoiding the long lines at the 234 Commuter Lot (AM) or Pentagon (PM).
