The Board Candidate Profiles are available to view. Click here to access the Candidates' answers to the five Election Committee questions. The Annual Meeting Packet will be mailed to Members on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Members eligible to vote can do so in one of three ways: electronically via the internet, by mail, or in-person at the Annual Meeting on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Online voting instructions and Member Number and Election Passcode will be included in the Annual Meeting Packet.

Photographs Wanted!

If you have a breathtaking picture that you’ve taken in and around Montclair, we want you! For the March issue of The Montclairion, we would like to feature Montclair’s photographers. Please send your photos along with your full name as you would like it displayed and a title for your photo to newsletter@montclairva.com! Please submit all photos and information by February 5, 2017.

MPOA Scheduled Email Outage

Starting 6 p.m. tonight, January 20th, through Sunday, January 22nd, MPOA office emails will be down while updates are occurring. This means that if you send an email during that time we will NOT receive your email. Join us at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet!

You’ve given your time and talents to help Montclair’s events, committees, and Board of Directors run efficiently this past year, and now we want to give back! On Wednesday, February 22 we will honor our volunteers and award one exceptional resident with the 2016 Distinguished Montclairion award. Eligible residents who have volunteered in 2016 will receive an invitation in the mail. Please RSVP to events@montclairva.com by close of business on Friday, February 17. Volunteers only please.

Candidate Forms Due Tomorrow!

Tomorrow (January 10) is the last day we are accepting candidate forms for the upcoming election of the Board of Directors! Four At-Large Representatives are needed to serve on the Board of Directors, to be elected at the Annual Meeting on March 11, 2017. To be eligible for election, you must be a Member of the Association in good standing. To become a candidate and ensure your name is on the official ballot, please complete the information on our candidate form (which can be found in the December & January copies of the Montclairion as well as our website), include a photo of yourself and submit to the MPOA office no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Christmas Tree Disposal!

Need to get rid of your Christmas tree? According to American Disposal, you may put your tree out with the yard waste. Remove all decorations, including tinsel and garland. Ensure that the tree is put out on its own, uncovered, and not in a plastic bag or a trash bag. American Disposal will pick up Christmas trees on the second collection day of the week (Thursdays).
