Summer Movie Night
Montclair’s summer movie night series wraps up with a showing of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Find out what happens when four teenagers unwittingly enter the world of Jumanji while serving detention. Will they escape back to our world? Or perish in the alternative, video game universe? New Guideline Changes
Starting August 1, the following guideline changes to Article 4, Section 4.6.1 Areas Contiguous to Lake Montclair will be effective,
4.6.1 Areas Contiguous to Lake Montclair. There are parcels of land specifically designed and equipped as recreational areas (i.e., Dolphin Beach, West Beach, and Beaver Landing). The MPOA restricts use of other areas contiguous to the lake, and surrounded by abutting privately owned property, as follows:

Summer Movie Night - July 28th
Don’t forget to clear your calendars and join us for the Montclair premiere of Coco. Will Miguel make it out of the Land of the Dead and keep the memory of his ancestors alive? Find out this Saturday, July 28, at the Southlake Recreation Center. Movies will begin at Sunset, but residents will be admitted starting at 7:00 p.m. Recreation Photo IDs with 2018 stickers will be required for entry. Only two guests per unrestricted pass.
Block Party Weekend
See Summer out with Montclair’s Block Party weekend. On August 11-12, get together with your friends and neighbors to enjoy a weekend of fun, great food, and good company. Don’t forget to send your pictures to communications@montclairva.com!

Hockersmith Park - New Innovations!
Looking for a place to have a barbeque? Then there are a few surprises you might like down at Hockersmith Park. Take a drive down Northgate and check out some of the neat, new features the LFMC has made to Montclair’s first park! In addition to fresh mulch, new paint, and similar modifications, the LFMC has added four new grills for cookouts, family gatherings, or a casual barbeque with friends. Stop by Hockersmith Park and take a look this summer!
American Disposal Recycling Notification
American Disposal, our contracted trash company, is changing its recycling procedure. Due to issues with recycling and contamination, American Disposal will no longer accept plastic bags in recycling containers. This includes all plastic bags, even actual bags that individuals once placed their recycling in. Time to fire up the grill again. Block Party weekend comes to Montclair this Summer from August 11-12. Get together with your friends and neighbors and throw a celebration for one last hurrah before Fall sets in.
