Boat Registration and Annual Dock Permits

Starting October 1, 2019, the MPOA Office will be accepting Boat Registration and Annual Dock Permit forms for the October 2019 to September 2020 season. The forms are available at the MPOA Office or on our website at www.montclairva.com by clicking “For Residents” then “Documents & Forms” or click here. Both forms must be submitted to the MPOA Office no later than October 31, 2019.

Don’t go looking around for a parking spot at Dolphin Beach: we are providing free transportation to and from Dolphin Beach for all major festivals! Trash Contract Update: We will not pursue a contract with Bates at this time.  During September's Board meeting, the motion to accept an agreement with Bates Trucking and Trash Removal for trash and recycling service was rescinded because Bates is unable to meet the agreement's terms. A few information exchanges between the MPOA and Bates occurred in August.  First, Bates stated, "At this time we need to look at all of our costs associated with a large community and determine if we would be a good fit at this time. MCC Update from the MPOA President, Rob Clemens

According to an email sent to the MCC members, negotiations for the sale of the club have ended. The email is included below:

Dear Montclair Members,

I am writing you today to express my gratitude for your loyalty during this difficult time at the club. I know that quite a few of you have expressed concern over the rumors that the club is being sold. I have not entered into any sale agreement and have withdrawn from any negotiations.

I have given my full support to our superintendent who has a detailed plan on how we will restore the greens. Sean has outlined the plan for you below.

BEER ON THE BEACH

BYOB, relax, and enjoy some live music on the beloved Dolphin Beach. 

Recommended for ages 21 and up. Personal grills are not allowed. GLASS BOTTLES ARE PROHIBITED. Coolers will be checked before entry. The beach will be closed promptly at 9 pm. All residents must present a 2019 Recreation Photo ID to enter events. Limit 2 guests per ID on event days. Community events are for residents.
