The holiday season is once again upon us and as get ready for some time off for family gatherings, shopping till we drop, and we can easily get distracted and become forgetful about our own personal safety and vulnerability to theft and other holiday crime.

The Christmas Holiday will soon be upon us and while Christmas trees and decorations add to the holiday spirit, they also pose a risk of fire and injury to many, especially children. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Christmas trees are a major source of fuel in a fire.  One out of every 45 reported home Christmas tree fires result in a death compared to an annual average of one death per 139 reported home fires.

Saturday with Santa

9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

He's making a list. He's checking it twice….and he's coming to Montclair whether you've been naughty or nice. Be on the lookout because Santa will be riding through Montclair on his big red fire truck. Come outside to say hi to Santa and catch a sweet treat as he drives by.

Santa needs to take a cookie and milk break before he visits Southlake Recreation Center for pictures, activities, and snacks from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture your Santa moment.
