Beginning Monday, December 14, the Dolphin Beach parking lot will only be available to residents from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The parking lot will be locked overnight on weekends until Memorial Day weekend. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot by 2:30 p.m. daily. The following amendments to the Community Guidelines were made at the October 14, 2015 Board of Directors meeting. These amendments will go into effect December 1, 2015. If you have any questions, please contact the MPOA office at (703) 670-6187.

 

Article 5, Section 5.9.1. Enforcement Procedures to provide between 14 and 30 days for compliance with the first notice of non-compliance and to automatically provide a hearing for all homeowners in receipt of a third notice of non-compliance.

The last day to take advantage of the MPOA office’s extended Wednesday hours (5-8 p.m.) will be October 28. Beginning Thursday, October 29, office hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended Wednesday hours will resume Wednesday, April 6, 2016.

Friday, October 30 is the last day to renew Boat Registration and Dock Permit Registration at the MPOA office. A late fee of $15 for Boat Registration and $200 for Dock Permit Registration will be incurred if renewal is not received by Tuesday, November 10. For more information, click here.

 

The MPOA office is now accepting Boat Registration and Dock Permit Registration forms for the October 2015 to September 2016 season. Boat Registration

All boats operating on Lake Montclair are required to be registered with the MPOA. Boats stored at the West Beach boat racks are required to pay a $25 fee upon renewal. Article 2, Section 2.4.5 Member Participation to allow members to speak at meetings of the Board of Directors at least once for each agenda item;

Article 5, Section 5.4.40 Siding to allow replacement of aluminum siding with vinyl as a pre-approved alteration.

At the August 12, 2015 Board of Directors meeting, an amendment to the American Disposal agreement was made to change the recycling pickup date to Thursdays. Effective October 1, residents should place their recycling curbside for pickup on Thursdays rather than Mondays. The MPOA office will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. The office will reopen with normal business hours Tuesday, September 8.
