In just a few short weeks, Santa and his elves will be visiting all the good boys and girls of Montclair! Santa will start out bright and early at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 12 riding around the neighborhood in a big red firetruck and handing out candy. Candy will be passed out at the Santa Stops as listed here. Stops will be for around two minutes unless otherwise noted. At 3:30 p.m., Santa will trade in his firetruck for a comfy chair. Visit the Southlake Recreation Center through 5:30 p.m. for snacks, activities and a photo with Santa. Don’t forget your Recreation Photo ID and a camera for taking photos.

Seniors, don’t miss your opportunity to tour charming and historic Old Town Fredericksburg on Friday, December 4. You’ll take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of downtown where you’ll enjoy the many festive window displays of the stores.
December 4 is First Friday in Fredericksburg, and there will be tons of holiday fun. Galleries and studios will be open late for you to admire works of local artists, and the historic Rising Sun Tavern and James Monroe Museum will be holding Holiday Open Houses from 6 to 8 p.m. Listen for the sounds of the Walker Grant Middle School 6th Grade Chorus as they go caroling through downtown.
