This Friday, October 30 is the deadline to submit Boat Registration and Dock Permit Registration renewals for the October 2015-September 2016 season. A late fee of $15 for Boat Registration and $200 for Dock Permit Registration will be incurred if renewal is not received by Tuesday, November 10. The last day to take advantage of the MPOA office’s extended Wednesday hours (5-8 p.m.) will be October 28. Beginning Thursday, October 29, office hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended Wednesday hours will resume Wednesday, April 6, 2016.

Need a break from unpacking all those knick-knacks? The MPOA will be hosting its annual New Resident Reception for new residents and their families on Wednesday, October 28, 7 p.m. at the MPOA office. The board of directors, committee members and management staff will be in attendance to answer your questions and give you valuable information on your new community. Here you can learn everything you’ve wanted to know about the neighborhood, join a committee, and meet fellow new residents. Attire is casual, so there’s no need to break out the tux (it’s probably still packed in a box somewhere, anyway). Help us stock the Prince William County Action in Community Through Service (PWC ACTS) Food Pantry during the 8th Annual Food Drive. Donations are being accepted for Operation Turkey, an initiative to provide Thanksgiving dinner to those in need, as well as general donations for the Food Pantry. Drop off donations at the MPOA office until noon Friday, November 13.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24! Deck out your trunk with all of your favorite Halloween decorations, or just come enjoy the BOO-tiful display from 3 to 5 p.m. Come dressed in costume and pick up candy from each of the decorated trunks. No need to bring candy this year: the treats will be provided by us! All you’ll need is your Recreation ID and your Halloween spirit!
