Montclair Triathlon
The Montclair Triathlon will be held this Sunday, June 28 throughout the community. Last Chance Registration is available through June 25 by visiting www.montclairtriathlon.com. Montclair residents receive a registration discount with proof of residency. Packet pickup will be held at the MPOA office Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and at Dolphin Beach the day of the event from 6 to 6:45 a.m. The first wave will begin their swim at 7 a.m. at Dolphin Beach. If you’re not participating, consider volunteering by visiting www.volunteersignup.org/9LADM, or by making some supportive spectator signs to cheer on the triathletes.
Residents will experience the following road closures during this event, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.:
Lake side of Waterway Drive will be closed; residents living on Waterway Drive eyebrows should expect delays.
Dolphin Drive north of Boxwood Drive will be closed. Residents residing on this portion of Dolphin Drive, as well as Spillway Lane, will be unable to move their cars.
Residents of Silvan Glen Drive are encouraged to refrain from street parking as runners will be utilizing this street.
