Deadline Extended - Senior Holiday Outing

Seniors, don’t miss your opportunity to tour charming and historic Old Town Fredericksburg on Friday, December 4. You’ll take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of downtown where you’ll enjoy the many festive window displays of the stores.

December 4 is First Friday in Fredericksburg, and there will be tons of holiday fun. Galleries and studios will be open late for you to admire works of local artists, and the historic Rising Sun Tavern and James Monroe Museum will be holding Holiday Open Houses from 6 to 8 p.m. Listen for the sounds of the Walker Grant Middle School 6th Grade Chorus as they go caroling through downtown. You may even stumble across Mr. & Mrs. Claus, who will be out and about from 7 to 8:30 p.m. With over 40 stores open late for the holidays, you’ll be able to finish your shopping while admiring the quaint beauty of this town.

Tickets are $15/person, or $25/couple. Deadline extended! Tickets are available at the MPOA office through Monday, November 30. Bus will leave from the MPOA office at 3 p.m. and will return no later than 10 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (703) 670-6187 or events@montclairva.com.
