Ready for Earth Day? So are we! Let’s get together to honor Mother Earth by keeping our very own neighborhood clean next Saturday, April 22, 2017. Start the day off with a challenge, and participate in the 5th annual Fishing Tournament. Or, head over to the MPOA for a continental breakfast of coffee and assorted pastries at 8:00 am. Once your all ready to go, choose a project (listed below) and get started!
Henderson Cemetery – general cleanup.
Fallstone Park – plant flowers and spread mulch.
MPOA Building/Kids Dominion – Wipe down equipment, general cleanup/spread mulch.
Hockersmith – spread mulch.
Montview Park – plant flowers and spread mulch.
West Beach – cleanup/mulch spreading.
Lake Clean Up - BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat. All Canoeists and Kayakers are welcomed!)
Finally, don’t forget to bring your Montclair T-shirt if you have one; new volunteers will receive a shirt the day of the event. Interested participants may sign up here. We hope to see you there!
