Prepare to Polka: Oktoberfest

Get ready for some fall fun. This year, Oktoberfest takes place on Saturday, September 30 at a brand-new venue, the Southlake Recreation Center! Enjoy a day filled with traditional German music, great food, harvest games and, of course, drinks. The fun begins at 3 p.m. with the tunes of authentic German band Die Kleine Kapelle to get you in the Oktoberfest mood. Sample food from our various food trucks, and try your luck at the Gemutlichkeit Games. Let the youngsters have a turn on the bounce house while you relax with a cold, adult beverage as the day winds down with The Excellent Drivers. A full schedule of events is below! Harvest Party 3-7 p.m.

Head to the field for a Harvest Party full of family fun! Fall games, bounce houses and slides, pony rides, games and more.

Gemutlichkeit Games 6:10 p.m.

Can you hold a stein, chicken dance, and pretzel toss better than the rest? Show off your skills in our Gemutlichkeit Games.

The Excellent Drivers 7:15-9:45 p.m.
