Cardboard Boat Regatta
25 DAYS TO THE EVENT
Goal
Build a boat entirely out of cardboard that can be raced 500 feet across Lake Montclair. Launching from West Beach, teams will row their boats to a buoy and back to shore.
Schedule
Check in will begin at 10 AM
The race will begin at 11 AM
Boats will race in timed heats.
Rewards
Speed Boat Award: the team that completes the course in the fastest amount of time.
Shipwrecked Award: the team that has the most spectacular sinking.
Best in Show Award: the team with the best design.
Deadline and Meeting
Shirt Sign Up Deadline: July 17th @ Noon
Final Sign Up Deadline: July 27th @ 5PM
Team Captain Meeting (Held via Zoom): July 31st
