Repairs to the Retaining Wall at Dolphin Beach
There will be ongoing repairs to the retaining wall at Dolphin Beach starting on Thursday, October 17, 2019 and continuing until Friday, November 8, 2019, depending on weather and any other unforeseen events. Playground will remain open but please use caution and stay out of the work area during the construction and rebuilding of the wall around the play area. There will be minimal noise during repairs.

Type in your street name in the search box at the top left of the page to zoom in. The following color legend indicates the status of paving: red= scheduled; green= in progress; blue= completed; black= rescheduled to future year. If you click on the color line, more info is displayed including the contact to VDOT construction manager responsible for the particular contract. All 2019 paving contracts should be completed by the first week in December.
A Reminder from MPOA Covenants
Now that the new trash and recycle days have remained consistent, the Covenants team will continue to inspect for trash can violations throughout the community. Please be mindful of the following regulations in the Community Guidelines 5.4.46 Trash Storage Containers:
a. Trash and recycling containers must be stored out of public view from adjacent lots and streets.
b. Trash and recycling containers may not be stored in the front of any dwelling or on front porches.
c. Trash in other than covered containers may not be stored outdoors.
d. Trash and recycling containers, trash bags, and yard waste shall not be placed at curbside before dusk on the day prior to pick-up and must be removed prior to the following day.

Come celebrate our neighborhood’s rich history and unique story. Historians from Prince William County will be onsite presenting information about Montclair’s history from Civil War encampments, to early planning designs, and more.
Halloween Home-Decorating Contest
Bring on the decorations! The spookier, the better! The Events Committee will be trolling the neighborhood on Friday, October 25, 2019, looking for the most festive Halloween house in Montclair. Have your lights on by 7 p.m. to be part of the contest. Four homes will be selected, one from each of the following categories: Spookiest, Fall Festive, Most Creative, and Family Friendly. Winners will be announced at the Trunk or Treat.

Montclair’s Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat

Stop inside the MPOA building for a snack and watch a spooky movie as you munch. MPOA will provide the candy, you bring the fun! The Community Events Committee is asking for the community’s help to turn Kids’ Dominion into a “Spooky Playground” suitable for all ages. They’d love for residents to bring their creative ideas and Halloween decorations at 1 p.m. to help set up and decorate the playground. Or residents can drop off their decorations at the MPOA Office on Friday, October 25, 2019 between 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Please be sure to label your decorations with your name if you’d like them to be returned to you.
Community events are for residents. All residents must present a 2019 Recreation Photo ID to enter events. Limit 2 guests per ID on event days.

Help us stock the PWC ACTS Food Pantry! Items requested: stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned soups, canned chicken, peanut butter, cereal, tuna, canned pumpkin, canned vegetables, gravy mix, corn muffin mix and spaghetti. Drop donations off at the MPOA Office during regular business hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
