Community Update 8-13-20
American Disposal Trash Services - Update Recently, American Disposal sent a letter to subscribers stating a service change would be put into effect August 1st. Following a meeting between the Montclair POA representatives, American agreed to change this effective date to October 1, 2020 in order to provide the Board of Directors time to discuss this matter at their August 12th meeting. Beer on the Beach – 8/14
Beer on the Beach is scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2020, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Dolphin Beach. Enjoy music provided by Dennis Wayland.
For the safety of all attendees please follow social distancing measures for this event;
In preparation Dolphin Beaches will close at 6:30 pm
No more than 250 participants will be allowed at Dolphin Beach
Social distancing practices (6 ft. apart) must be observed during the entire event
Recommended for ages 21 and up. Personal grills are not permitted. GLASS BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED. Coolers will be checked before entry. All residents must present a valid 2020 Recreation Photo ID to enter this event. Beaches will close at 9:00 pm and the parking lot gates will close at 9:15 pm. Vehicles left in the parking lot can be retrieved the following morning at 7:30 am when the gate reopens.
Summer Movie Night – 8/15
Summer Movie Night showing of Dolittle will be held at Dolphin Beach on Saturday, August 15, 2020, beginning at sunset. Please bring your own lawn chairs, snacks, and drinks. Alcoholic beverages, portable grills, and glass containers are prohibited.
For the safety of all attendees, social distancing measures (6 feet apart) must be observed during the entire event, except by members of the same household. All residents must present a 2020 Recreation photo ID to enter the Summer Movie Night event. The beach will close at the end of the movie.
Fireworks – 8/29
Due to the current state of COVID-19, on August 12, the Board of Directors voted to postpone the fireworks display until 2021.
Oktoberfest – 9/19
Due to the current state of COVID-19, on August 12, the Board of Directors voted to cancel Oktoberfest.
