Community Update – 3-15-21
Trespassing at Dolphin Beach Pavilion The MPOA office has received calls this morning regarding a party during the late evening hours on Thursday, March 11th. This was apparent by the amount of trash, food, containers, etc., that were left in and around the Pavilion. The Maintenance crew responded and cleaned up the area. Please be advised that persons found at the beaches after dusk and prior to 6 a.m. are subject to eviction and/or arrest for trespassing (C.G.4.2.1)
Lake Lowering – 3/15 At the March 10, 2021 MPOA Board of Directors meeting, the Board passed a motion to proceed with lowering of Lake Montclair beginning Monday, March 15, 2021 at a depth not to exceed three (3) feet for the purpose of facilitating the replacement of a check valve on the Montclair Country Club intake pipe located at the pump house at Dolphin Beach. The lake will remain lowered until 3:00 PM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at which time the gate shall be closed and remain closed allowing the lake levels to naturally rise back to normal levels. Please safely make any necessary adjustments to your boat lines to compensate.
Annual Meeting at the MPOA Office – 3/20 @ 9:00a.m. In compliance with Executive Order 72, in-person attendance at the Annual Meeting will be limited to the MPOA Board, management staff, and Election Committee Members. We would like to encourage all Members to vote early when your Annual Meeting Packets are received, not the day of the Annual Meeting.
Voting will begin at 9:00a.m. and end approximately at 11:20a.m. (After the budget presentation). We have reached quorum!
Precinct 2 Members
If nominations are made from the floor (i.e. virtually), Members who live in Precinct 2 will be permitted to come to the MPOA Building and cast their ballot for the candidate of their choosing. Upon casting your vote, you must promptly exit the building. In-person attendance is not permitted. Day of meeting referendum balloting closes at the end of the Budget Presentation.

Spring Celebration – 3/27 As the Easter bunny comes hop hop hopping to your area with a special treat, please make sure to register for a time slot for your memorable bunny photos at Dolphin Beach! 2021 Boat Auction – 4/5 The MPOA will auction off all unclaimed boats found on Lake Montclair or boats located on the West Beach boat racks with expired or no registration stickers. If you have a boat stored at West Beach, please make sure that your current MPOA 2021 sticker and registration number is visible are current placed on the left side of the boat. COVID-19 – Vaccine Registration Information
Prince William Health District Expands to Include COVID Vaccine Call Center On Thursday, January 14, the Prince William Health District in conjunction with Prince William County Government expanded the COVID-19 Call Center to include information on the vaccine. The call center will provide information to residents concerning COVID-19 vaccines and assist with those who do not have access to a computer, the internet, or email. The call center hours: Monday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 703-872-7759. To register for the waitlist, visit https://vaccinate.virginia.gov/. Participants must provide their full name, telephone number, home or work address in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, or the City of Manassas Park to obtain COVID testing and receive the results. Here is a list of the upcoming testing sites and locations. All areas can accommodate drive-thru or walk-up testing. To ensure you receive a test, please arrive at the site as close as possible to the start time and ensure you are in line by the time posted below.
