Community Update – 2-26-21


Annual Meeting – 3/20 @ 9:00a.m. In compliance with Executive Order 72, in-person attendance at the Annual Meeting will be limited to the MPOA Board, management staff, and Election Committee Members. We would like to encourage all Members to vote early when your Annual Meeting Packets are received, not the day of the Annual Meeting.

Precinct 2 Members If nominations are made from the floor (i.e. virtually), Members who live in Precinct 2 will be permitted to come to the MPOA Building and cast their ballot for the candidate of their choosing. Upon casting your vote, you must promptly exit the building. In-person attendance is not permitted. Day of meeting referendum balloting closes at the end of the Budget Presentation.

Annual Meeting Ballots 2021 Annual Meeting Ballots will be mailed starting February 15th. If you have not received a ballot by March 1st, please contact the MPOA office @ 703-670-6187 or communications@montclairva.com

COVID-19 Emergency Mortgage and Utility Housing Assistance Program PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – The Emergency Housing Assistance Program will be provided to all eligible households who reside in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, who have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19, with a one-time or short-term (no more than six consecutive months payments) of emergency mortgage and utility housing assistance to “prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus." COVID-19 Vaccination Town Hall – 3/4 @ 6:00p.m. On Thursday, March 4, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Prince William Health District (PWHD) will host a virtual COVID-19 Vaccination Town Hall. Dr. Alison Ansher, director of the PWHD, and Dr. Fabian Sandoval, CEO and research director of the Emerson Clinical Research Institute, will share important information about the vaccines. COVID-19 – Vaccine Registration Information

Prince William Health District Expands to Include COVID Vaccine Call Center On Thursday, January 14, the Prince William Health District in conjunction with Prince William County Government expanded the COVID-19 Call Center to include information on the vaccine. The call center will provide information to residents concerning COVID-19 vaccines and assist with those who do not have access to a computer, the internet, or email. The call center hours: Monday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 703-872-7759. To register for the waitlist, visit https://vaccinate.virginia.gov/. The health district serves Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park and can be reached via its Call Center at 703-872-7759, seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Text COVIDPWC to 888777 for COVID-19 alerts.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – Free COVID-19 testing is available for anyone who lives or works in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, or the City of Manassas Park. Participants must provide their full name, telephone number, home or work address in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, or the City of Manassas Park to obtain COVID testing and receive the results. Here is a list of the upcoming testing sites and locations. All areas can accommodate drive-thru or walk-up testing. To ensure you receive a test, please arrive at the site as close as possible to the start time and ensure you are in line by the time posted below. Testing is only available until the allocated test kits are depleted at each site.
