MPOA Office Closure – 11/26 & 11/27 The MPOA office will be closed in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume regular office hours on Monday, November 30th at 8:30am.


Montclair Classics – Comedy Show – 12/4 Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, in person attendance has been limited to 25 individuals. However, the show must go on! Since we have reached our in-person limit, you can now enjoy the Comedy Show from the comforts of your own home webinar. All in-person attendees must show their current mpoa recreation identification cards. Doors open at 7:30pm for in-person Zoom starts at 8:00pm, no registration required. Santa Ride – 12/12 (9am – 1pm) Santa Claus will be making his pilgrimage from the North Pole to Montclair on Saturday, December 12th. He will begin his route around Montclair at 9:00am, starting at the MPOA office, and end around 1:00pm. (times are approximate) Please see Santa’s route in the attachments. Saturday with Santa – 12/12 (2:30pm – 5pm)* After taking a break with some milk and cookies, please come visit Santa at the MPOA Office for pictures and a special present! Please don't forget your Rec IDs, and parents don't forget your camera to capture this special Santa moment. Holiday Home Decorating Contest Greetings from the Montclair Garden Club! This holiday season we will be judging the Annual Holiday Decorating Contest. The members of the Garden Club are delighted to see all of the decorating charisma that Montclair has to offer. Let your holiday spirit soar with yuletide glee! American Disposal Trash Services – Yard Debris Trash collection service during the week of Thanksgiving will be on Saturday, November 28th. During the heavier leaf and yard debris collection period, ADS will exercise the 10 bag/10-bundle rule, if needed. Personal cans may be used. However, they need to be marked “Yard Debris”. Tree limbs and brush must be no longer than 4-5 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. Yard debris and trash collection service is Thursday of each week. Participants must provide their full name, telephone number, home or work address in Prince William County, the City of Manassas, or the City of Manassas Park to obtain COVID testing and receive the results. Here is a list of the upcoming testing sites and locations. All areas can accommodate drive-thru or walk-up testing. To ensure you receive a test, please arrive at the site as close as possible to the start time and ensure you are in line by the time posted below. Testing is only available until the allocated test kits are depleted at each site.
