Montclair Classics – Comedy Show – 12/4 Due to the overwhelming response to this event, we have temporarily paused the registration to ensure that those who have signed up for this Comedy Show understand that this is intended for Mature Audiences only. The Montclair Classics, previously known as the senior event, was created as an event for the active adults (age 55+) in our community to enjoy an activity planned with them in mind. With such a large population of active adults in Montclair, we want to make sure they have the chance to enjoy the event that was created for them. The content at this year’s Montclair Classics Comedy Show may not be considered “Family Friendly”. If your reservation includes attendees that do not fall into the targeted audience, we ask that you kindly modify your reservation so that we can accommodate the active adults of Montclair. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Kim Monell at events@montclairva.com. Space is limited to 24 groups (i.e. same household), so reserve your spot now for some light refreshments & snacks. Current mpoa recreation identification cards are required to attend this event. Doors open at 7:30pm https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080B4FA9AE2FA4FF2-montclair

Lake Lowering – 11/1

Beginning on or about November 1, 2020, the lake will be gradually lowered, over the course of a few days, by three feet in order to prepare for winter cleaning of the dam and docks along with end of season inspections as may be needed. This lowering also provides an opportunity for lake front owners to inspect/repair/perform maintenance to their docks. The level will remain lowered for 7 days and then be allowed to return to its normal level.

Please remember to submit a PIR for dock repairs, if required. Please view Community Guideline 5.4.8 Docks, Piers and Wharves. In addition, please make sure, if you are a lake front owner that you take the necessary precautions to secure your personal property.
