Parking at MPOA Beaches
C.G. 4.1.10 - During the Off Season (after Labor Day until Memorial Day weekend) beach parking lots will open at 7:30 a.m. and will lock at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays) and will be locked through the entire weekend. Vehicles left in the parking lots after 3:30 p.m. may be retrieved the next business day at 7:30 a.m. During the Beach Season (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend), beach parking lots will open daily at 7:00

Lake Update – March 18, 2021
Lake Lowering – Update
As announced earlier this week, the lake was lowered on Monday and Tuesday for the purpose of facilitating the replacement of a check valve on the Montclair Country Club intake pipe located at the pump house at Dolphin Beach. The repairs were completed last evening and the gate has been closed. The current level is 185.108’ and will be allowed to return to its natural level.

Trespassing at Dolphin Beach Pavilion
The MPOA office has received calls this morning regarding a party during the late evening hours on Thursday, March 11th. This was apparent by the amount of trash, food, containers, etc., that were left in and around the Pavilion. The Maintenance crew responded and cleaned up the area.

Tree Removal by the Dam
The MPOA office has received calls regarding several trees around the dam marked with yellow tape. According to Virginia Dam Safety Regulations, trees should never be allowed to grow on the dam’s embankment, at the outlet, plunge pool or spillway area, or within 25 feet beyond the abutment contacts. During last year’s inspection, the inspecting engineer reminded us about removing trees and other woody vegetation from the 25 foot area along the right ab
