A star-spangled celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with a bang at Dolphin Beach on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Start the day off at 10:00 a.m. with the annual bike parade, starting at Henderson Elementary School, parading down Waterway, and ending at the MPOA building. Then, join us for more fun later at 6! Head down to Dolphin Beach to listen to the music of Roxbury, indulge in all-American dishes, and to participate in some fun in the sun. Wrap up the day with one of the best fireworks shows in the county while lounging on Montclair’s most iconic beach. A full schedule of events may be found below!

10:00 a.m. – Bike Parade at Henderson; don’t forget to decorate your bike with stars and stripes!

6:00 p.m. – Celebrations begin at Dolphin Beach!

9:00 p.m. – Fireworks show. The display may start off early due to weather, so make sure you arrive in a plenty of time so you don’t miss out!

Don’t forget, Recreation Photo ID’s will be checked at this event so get yours updated for 2017 if you haven’t already. Only two guests per unrestricted RPID please. No alcohol or personal fireworks will be permitted. We hope that you’ll join us in celebrating an American favorite!
