Incident Report
To the Community of Montclair:
The Montclair Property Owners Association Board and Staff have been briefed on the incident that occurred early Monday morning, February 4th, 2019 and that has since been the subject of recent reporting within the news.
The safety and well-being of our Members and Residents is the top priority of the Association. To that regard, while the Association has arranged for off-duty police patrol in Montclair, our authority to address criminal acts in Montclair is limited. Following this incident, the Association has taken steps to increase the off-duty police patrols throughout Montclair, in addition to scheduled patrols of Association common area.
Owners and residents are encouraged to be mindful of and take steps to ensure their own personal safety, wheresoever necessary. All suspicious activities or concerns for personal safety should be reported to the local police immediately.
The Association is grateful to local law enforcement for their quick response, and urges anyone who has information on this incident to contact the Prince William County Police at 703-792-6500.
