Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate America’s birthday right in your own backyard. On Monday, July 4 we’ll be hosting lots of Independence Day fun!

Bike Parade – 10 a.m. Show your spirit by bringing your decorated bike down to Henderson Elementary in the morning and parading down Waterway Drive with Uncle Sam. The parade will end at the MPOA office. Please note that construction at Henderson Elementary may limit parking availability.

Evening Events – 6 p.m. Let the celebration begin! Head to Dolphin Beach and enjoy music, food, and of course, fireworks! Our food vendors will keep you stuffed with delicious American fare. Dance the night away to the sounds of Mutual Fun Band, performing until the beginning of the fireworks show. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m., however they may be launched early in cases of inclement weather. Be sure to get there early!

Recreation Photo IDs are required for this and all community events. Limit 2 guests per unrestricted ID. Alcohol and personal fireworks are not permitted.
