Office Closure and Lake Lowering

The MPOA office will be closed at 3:00 p.m. today, November 23, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 28.

Please remember that Lake Montclair will be lowered on Monday, November 28. The lake will be lowered three feet and will be maintained at this lowered level for one week. After all required work is completed, the sluice gate will be closed and the water level will be left to return naturally to its regular level (188 feet above mean sea level). Rainfall and the flow of Powell’s Creek will determine how long the return to normal level will take.
