Annual Inspections to begin next week

Annual Inspections will begin next week. Each year, the Covenants Department conducts yearly inspections of all owner lots in Montclair to keep our neighborhood beautiful. Please read the March edition of the Montclairion for more information about the process, and what you can do for your house to prepare. Easter Egg Hunt This Saturday!

Join us on Saturday, March 31 for the Montclair Easter Egg Hunt at 11:00 a.m. at the Southlake Recreation Center. Meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and play with cute and cuddly animals. RPID Guidelines

Starting in April, the MPOA office will begin issuing updated RPID stickers for the 2018 recreation season. Don’t forget, new guidelines will be going into effect that change the way stickers and RPIDs are issued. Updates to Article 4 Section 4.1.2 Recreation Photo IDs states, “Non-resident Property Owners are only authorized to receive RPIDs for one household. They may only obtain RPIDs for their Non-resident household or their renters, but not both.” Please call the MPOA at (703) 670-6187 with any questions or concerns regarding this change. LFMC Meeting Rescheduled

Spring cleaning with Montclair Earth Day

Celebrate the start of spring with your friends and neighbors for Montclair Earth Day! Saturday, April 21, stop by the MPOA office at 8:15 a.m. for a free continental breakfast. Then head out and start your assignments. Will you plant flowers? Tidy up the sidewalks? All jobs are important to maintaining a beautiful Montclair. Please note that all assignments must be chosen before Montclair Earth Day. Boats stored at West Beach

Boat owners who would like to remove their boat from the West Beach Storage may call the MPOA office at (703) 670-6187 to schedule a time for staff to open the gates to the West Beach parking lot and Boat Ramp. Residents will have until Monday, April 30, 2018 by close of business (5:00 p.m.) to retrieve their boat from West Beach. Boat owners who do not remove their boats by the end of this time period will not have access to their boats until Lake Montclair and the beaches are restored to their normal capacity. Those who remove their boat from West Beach storage will be refunded the $25 storage fee and do so with the understanding that the boat cannot be returned to West Beach until the be

Beaches are Closed

Please note that Dolphin Beach, West Beach, and Beaver Landing are closed until further notice. Access to pavilions, playgrounds, and parking lots on or near all beaches is prohibited until completion of the Spillway Project and the lake has returned to normal level. Reservations will not be taken for any of the beaches but will still be available for Kids' Dominion, which will remain open.

Kid's Dominion Closed

Dear Montclair Residents, Kids Dominion has been temporarily closed due to a hazardous tree in the area. We are working to have the tree removed as soon as possible to minimize the inconvenience as much as possible. We will issue another notice once the park is re-opened. Montclair Earth Day

Mark your calendars! April 21st is Montclair Earth Day, an opportunity for us to give back to our community by coming together to put a little extra shine and beauty on the neighborhood we all love and care for.
