“The next Dolphin Beach Restoration Committee meeting will be held at the MPOA office on June 15, 2018 3:00 p.m. The goal of this ad-hoc sub committee is to plan the renovation and re-opening of Dolphin Beach in the aftermath of the spillway project.

Summer Movie Night – Brew and a View

Kick off the Summer with a flick beneath the stars. Join us for Brew and a View at the Southlake Recreation Center, a special 21+ movie night, for a chance to watch a great movie with friends and enjoy a glass of wine or a can of beer. Pipeline rehabilitation and stabilization at Lake Montclair

During the first week of June 2018, the Service Authority, together with its hired contractors, will be conducting rehabilitation and stabilization of an existing 10-inch pipeline that crosses Lake Montclair near the mouth of the lake's inlet from Powells Creek (far western portion of the lake, between Buena Vista Drive on the south side of the lake and end of Spring Branch Boulevard on the north side of the lake). To accomplish this work the Service Authority will use some heavier, wheeled or tracked vehicles and equipment. These vehicles and equipment will gain access to the area from the Service Authority's existing easements on the north side of the lake, off of Spring Branch Boulevard.

Please be aware that the MPOA office will be closed on Monday, May 28, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Phone calls and emails will not be monitored during this time but will be promptly attended to when the office reopens on Tuesday, May 29 at 8:30 a.m.

Montclair Day - June 9

Time to party like royalty. On June 9 at 3:00 p.m., head down to the Southlake Recreation Center to partake in our annual Montclair Day celebration. This year, we invite you to come dressed in your fantastical best for a day of Medieval revelry. Relax with your friends and neighbors in the Town Tavern, try your hand at archery or see if you have what it takes to slay the dragon. Donations for Woman Giving Back now being accepted at the MPOA

Dear Montclair Residents, The Montclair POA will be participating in a charity drive sponsored by FirstService Residential’s Social Purpose program. We will be collecting gently used women’s and children’s clothing in support of local charity, Women Giving Back. The mission of Women Giving Back is to serve women & children in crisis by helping transitionally homeless women and children get on their feet with clothes to help them enter the work force and for their children to fit in at school – all at no cost to them. Please join the MPOA in partnering with FirstService Residential to support this amazing local charity by bringing your gently used women’s and children’s clothes to the MPOA

Recreation Photo ID Reminders

Don’t forget to get your 2018 stickers for your Recreation Photo ID’s (RPID). While the beaches are closed, we still have many great events planned for you and your family to enjoy, and you will need your 2018 sticker to attend. Please remember to bring your RPID’s with you when you come to get your stickers so that we can affix the stickers to the RPID. If you have misplaced your RPID, you can purchase a replacement for $10. We look forward to seeing you all at the great events we have planned this season!

Summer Movie Nights

The silver screen comes to Southlake for Summer Movie Nights. This year, we have a fantastic lineup of films planned just for you. June 23 (Brew and a View, 21+ Movie Night, no children premitted) – Wonder Woman July 28 – Coco August 25 – Jumanji (2017) Due to the Spillway Project, all Movie Nights will take place at the Southlake Recreation Center. Movies will begin at sunset, but residents will be admitted starting at 7:00 p.m. Popcorn will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Recreation Photo ID Reminder

The Recreation Season is upon us. That means that it is time to update your Recreation Photo IDs (RPIDs) with new, 2018 stickers. Please keep in mind that new guidelines have gone into effect that change the way RPIDs and updated stickers are issued for non-resident property owners and their tenants. Article 4.1.2 States, “Non-resident Property Owners are only authorized to receive RPIDs for one household. They may only obtain RPIDs for their Non-resident household or their renters, but not both.” Remember, owners and tenants must acknowledge that all residents listed on the RPID form reside in the house with a valid signature. Montclair Day - June 9

Knights, dragons, kings and queens all converge at Southlake this Montclair Day on June 9. Come dressed up in your Medieval best to celebrate Montclair Day 2018. Feast like royalty, slay dragons, even get your fortune told or enjoy a pint in the Town Tavern when you’ve had your fill of adventure. The fun all begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Southlake Recreation Center. Volunteers are still needed! Sign up here! MPOA – Internet Notification

Tomorrow, May 8, the MPOA will be switching internet providers starting at 8:00 a.m. Internet and phone services at the office may be down and could be sporadic throughout the day.
